I had the chicken pho, spring rolls, and iced milk coffee. All of the food was good for the price. I will definitely go back for the food.
The atmosphere.... a little confusing. It was an asian looking restaurant, but they had a Bob Marley DVD playing on a very large, very loud flatscreen TV. *Scratches head*
Also, the waitservice was lacking. We were there at dinnertime and there were about 5 tables needing service and 1 waitress. We were there for and hour and a half total for soup! The wait was pretty ridiculous if you ask me.

I had the bun tom thit nuong (rice vermicelli with grilled pork and shimp). Overall I thought it was quite good, though I admit I have no idea what traditional Vietnamese food should taste like. The pork and shrimp were very tender and flavorful and the vermicelli was light. The portion was quite adequate for $7.50, although it would have been nice to see some more vegetable variety in the dish beside some kind of lettuce. The nuoc cham sauce (I think that's what it is) was also light and slightly spicy. It was pretty delicious.
The restaurant itself was larger than I thought it would be and very clean. The staff was good. So, would I come back to this place? Pho sho.

A quick rundown on this place: Pho: GOOOOOooooooD- the broth is very hearty- lovely flavor. It's the kind of broth you want when you are feeling sick- it makes me feel soo good even when I am not ill! The art of ordering pho at this place is set up differently than at most pho places here in Austin as some other Yelpers have noted. Its not difficult to figure it out. All in all its good stuff- full flavored accented with fresh veggies, herbs etc. The spring rolls were a little tough like they had been made a couple of days ago and were full or iceberg lettuce- eh (sigh). The egg rolls were good but a little too oily. Now service: the the waitress was by herself- she tried soo hard to give us the best service she could but they closed at 8:30 that day and well.. we left at 9:30 and they still had people ordering (we arrived at 7:45). Lemon grass cafe is hidden in the shopping center that is located on Mo Pac and Parmer- they're pretty good- not the best but they try hard and their employees are nice even when they are swamped which I feel needs to be commended. The waitress (Lynn??) gets it the 4th star.

I always crave Pho when I'm sick and this is the best place to get it. - it's relatively cheap and very quick - you can call in pick it up and be on your way back to your couch in minutes to nurse your self back to health. The music videos that they play are a little much. But I find their Pho to have a better flavor than Triumph Cafe.

Stopped in for a late lunch today. The few times I've been in, it's been sparsely populated. The television seems to always be tuned to a live music channel. It's a clean, new-looking interior, with a small piece of bamboo at each table and plastic flowers in baskets on the wall.
The pho is pretty standard, though unlike some restaurants there is just one kind of pho, and you order by ingredients (instead of selecting from a few common combinations). The bun, or rice vermicelli bowl, is what I had today, and it was fresh and light, and as flavorful as the Sriracha sauce I poured into it.
I've been here a few times now, and the staff has always been quick and friendly. Note, however, that there is a $10 minimum on credit card purchases, so consider adding a bubble tea or something to your order if you are alone.
